Genesis Software completes commissioning of the Sodanklya SKiYMET radar in Finland.
This SKiYMET system consists of 15kW (5% duty cycled) pulsed radar transmitter and 5 receive antennas to perform interferometric analysis of meteor echoes to calculate the location in space.
Optional analysis software has also been supplied to perform radiant mapping, wind velocity determination, diffusion coefficient calculation, entrance velocity estimation and momentum flux analysis.
Genesis Software supplied the antennas, transmitter, receivers and data acquisition hardware, MARDOC supplied the analysis software.
