Genesis Software completes commissioning of the Rothera SKiYMET radar in Antarctica for the University of Bath.
This system is a standard VHF meteor radar with a 6kW, 7.5% duty cycle pulsed transmitter connected to a crossed 2 element Yagi antenna.
The receive system is 5 crossed 2 element Yagi in a standard meteor radar configuration to allow inteferometric analysis of meteor echoes for position determination.
